Composition
Centellasial contains Centella asiatica (CA), Fucus Vesiculosus Extracts (FVE) and Ivy Extracts (Hh)
Centella Asiatica
Its active constituents include pentacyclic triterpene derivatives and triterpene compounds (asiatic acid, madecassic acid, asiaticoside and madecassolide).
Wound Healing Cellulitis: the effect of Centella Asiatica in the treatment of cellulitis appears to be related to its ability to enhance connective tissue structure and reduct sclerosis.
Anti-Inflammatory and antioxidant
Wide range of other effects: Increases the formation of mucin and structural glycosaminoglycans like hyaluronic acid and chodroitin sulphate. Increases the tensile integrity of the dermis.
Fucus Vesiculosus (FV) - Bladderwrack

Dematitis, keloids, skin ulcers, sergical wounds, venous disorders, anti inflammatory and anti edema, wound healing and cellulitis.
Toxicity
Centella Asiatica and its extracts are very well tolerated especially orally. However the topical application of a salve containing Centella has been reported to cause contact dermatitis, although quite infrequently.
Additional Information
Synergetic CA + FVE + Hh have been reported to be active, alone or in association, in following indications
- Vascular, fibrotic or inflammatory cellulitis, edema and venous disorders problems.
- Wound healing after burns, peelings, lasers, surgery and dermabrasions. Post liposuction maintenance or enhancer care. Stretch marks or alopecia treatment.
- Early treatment in keloid formation.
